Research Team

TaKaDu's Water Network Monitoring approach requires the application of network intelligence to get the insight utilities need into their water networks. That's why we have a pure research function within our company.

Taking sparse and noisy data and using it to detect the invisible requires research power in mathematical and algorithmic areas with a unique blend of approximation algorithms, graph theory, time-teries analysis, and even omputational biology. TaKaDu's research team focuses on solving the thorny problems created by the data.

Members of our research team include:

Dr. Amitai Armon

Amitai Armon joined TaKaDu as part of its founding team in early 2009 and leads research in the Company. Prior to joining Takadu, Amitai was a visiting research scholar at the Los-Alamos National Lab (USA), where he analyzed U.S. urban activities data. Previously, Amitai served 7 years in the Israeli Defense Forces, in a research branch of an elite technological unit. He led several research projects and R&D teams, and received both personal and team excellence awards.
