TaKaDu is looking for a top-notch java developer to join our R&D group in the infrastructure team. The senior developer will take a key role in designing the next generation of TaKaDu's platform.
TaKaDu develops a unique Software-as-a-Service platform, revolutionizing the water infrastructure market. Delivered as a web-based service to large water utilities worldwide, TaKaDu's solution tackles the global issue of water shortage, by reducing water loss and improving the efficiency of water networks.
TaKaDu's infrastructure team is responsible for creating a robust and scalable distributed platform capable of handling many concurrent, complex and intensive computations. The developer will take part in designing the next generation of TaKaDu's platform, creating the architecture and infrastructure that will run both the algorithmic engine and the online monitoring service for a large number of water networks.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Computer-Science or equivalent (Grade Point Average 85+) or veteran of an elite technology unit
Java expert
At least 5 years of experience in developing server-side, DB-backed applications
Both independent and a great team player
Additional pluses:
MSc in Computer Science
Familiarity with Linux
Familiarity with JBoss
Good knowledge of Python
Experience with a large scale distributed software system
