Lilach Bien joined TaKaDu in August 2009 as a Senior Software Engineer in charge of algorithmic aspects of the product. Prior to joining TaKaDu, Lilach worked for 4 years as a Senior Software Engineer in the Algorithms team at Red Bend, a company developing solutions for updating cellular phones over-the-air, where she developed the next generation of the product's algorithmic engine
Previously, Lilach served 4 years in the Israeli Defense Forces, in a research branch of an elite technological unit. She was responsible for several R&D projects, which involved development and implementation of complex mathematical and statistical algorithms.
Lilach holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from TelAvivUniversity (2007, Summa Cum Laude). Her M.Sc. thesis is in the field of combinatorial computational geometry. She also holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science (2002, Summa Cum Laude, received at the age of 19) from the Open University of Israel.
