Gympie Australia Implements TaKaDu’s Event Management Solution as Part of its Smart Water Network Project

The regional council selected TaKaDu after seeing its successful deployment at other utilities in Queensland

Gympie, Queensland, Australia, and Yehud, Israel – November 27 2017 – Gympie Regional Council in South East Queensland is the latest Australian water utility to turn to TaKaDu’s integrated event management solution to improve efficiency and reduce water loss. Covering an area of 6,898 sq kms, Gympie is implementing TaKaDu as part of a major restructuring project to make its water network smarter, which includes investing in automation and new devices, and the setting up of additional DMAs (district metered areas). 

​Gympie selected TaKaDu after evaluating how the technology is being used at other utilities in the region, including Unitywater, Queensland Urban Utilities (QUU) and Gold Coast. “Council stated it is committed to managing its network to a very high standard and looks forward to TaKaDu playing a role in achieving this objective”.
